These animals need a new home, and this also makes space for another
These animals have lost their previous homes. This can be due to abandonment, people losing their jobs, among other causes. You will be giving them a second chance at their happiness in a loving home.
According to ASPCA (2020), about 6.5 million companion animals (dogs, cats, etc.) enter U.S. rescue shelters in a year
Help Decrease the Pet Overpopulation
There are many cats and dogs out there who need to join a family.
According to Pet Foundation (2015), 8 million animals are euthanized a year. Help do your part to find an animal a home.
Supports Rescues
The rescues are often not-for-profit. The adoption fees will not only find you a loving
companion but also supports a good cause. This helps feed them and pay employees to socialize with them. These fees typically include a microchip, spay/neuter, and vaccinated animal. You will help keep these rescues running.
Make a Friend
Now you have friend to go shopping with and dress them up. Plus, you can meet new friends. Go to the parks and exercise. Meet other friends with their furry friends. Or your new furry friend to talk to at the end of the day.
Help Stop the Puppy Mills
These are facilities that produce puppies for profit. This increases the already overpopulation of dogs. These places can be unsanitary and unhealthy for the mothers.
About 10,000 puppy mills are in the U.S., according to the Humane Society (2020).
